QRO is our primary recommendation. It is about a 1-hour drive to San Miguel, with straightforward connections through DFW or IAH. Volaris offers limited direct flights from Los Angeles to QRO on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
Another good option. It is a 1-1.5 hour drive to San Miguel, though traffic can make the journey longer.
Explore Mexico City before the wedding, then take a 30-minute flight to Querétaro and a 1-hour drive to San Miguel. Or drive directly from Mexico City in about 4 hours.
Airport & general transportation. Email Maritza at contact@tripsanmiguel.com with your flight information to request a price. SUVs and vans are available. You can also book through TransportArte Mexico or ask your hotel to arrange a car.
Stay in Centro, the heart of San Miguel. Choose accommodations within an easy walk of the wedding venues, and check the walking route before booking. The streets are cobblestone and the hills are real, so bring comfortable shoes.
Use a taxi or Uber for the climb. Rent a car only if you are planning day trips beyond San Miguel. All wedding events are within a couple of walkable blocks.
Please book in Centro, the heart of San Miguel. Check the property location before reserving, as some listings are a 30-minute drive outside the city center.
